Monitor the temperature of your turkey from up to 150 feet away. It measures the oil temperature from 14 degrees to 410 degrees. Transmitter is 16" long and extends 12" deep into hot oil. It displays the actual oil temperature, average oil temperature, and cooking time. The reciever will alert you when the oil is up to cooking temperature or if the oil gets too cold or too hot and calculates the average oil temperature during cooking.
